A Black Female-Owned Initiative Driving Change Through Poultry Farming

Rebochicks Business Enterprise Pty Ltd, herein referred to as RBE, is an emerging black female-owned initiative.

RBE is an initiative born out of research into the needs of these changing times. The initiative aims to offer sustainable, quality service to a wide clientele and create jobs for youth, women and disabled individuals, which are the main pillars of strength. The enterprise operates on a farm located in Blouberg Municipality within the Capricorn District in Miltonduf village, covering 4 hectares.

The Heart of Rebochicks Business Enterprise

The farm produces poultry (broilers) and initially operated with 500 chickens in a backyard setup, later increasing to 2,000 chickens at the new farm site. The farm has contributed various resources including an existing 2,000 cc chicken house, a fence and water supply. The market for the produce is mainly hawkers in Blouberg and Polokwane.

Our Services

At Rebochicks Business Enterprise we offer a range of services to meet the needs of our community. We sell live and slaughtered broiler chickens, spinach, tomatoes and chillies

Live Chicken Sales

We supply live broiler chickens to local hawkers and businesses in Blouberg and Polokwane. Our farm produces high-quality, healthy chickens raised in a controlled environment, ensuring the best possible standards for their customers.

Chicken Slaughtering and Processing

We offer a professional chicken slaughtering service, ensuring the chickens are processed hygienically and meet all necessary health standards. The facility is equipped with appropriate infrastructure for safe and efficient slaughtering, packaging and distribution.

Job Creation and Empowerment

We focus on job creation by hiring youth, women and disabled individuals from the local community. This initiative helps in fostering skill development and providing sustainable employment opportunities to those in need, contributing to the socio-economic development of the region.
